Quite shockingly, this will be our 4th Christmas running this class with Jane.  Most years we run this class twice as there is so much demand but for this year the calendar is going to allow us to run it once, so do book early to avoid disappointment.
 
Jane is not only a well-known Chilterns based print artist but also a highly experienced teacher, so we are really excited to be running this workshop again with her. Over the years we have seen the most incredible and unique cards from folk who have never done lino before so this class is very suitable for beginners as well as seasonal lino printers!
 
In this 2 and a half-hour workshop, under Jane’s expert guidance, you will learn the basics of lino printing and will leave with your own set of Christmas cards.   Your cards will be printed onto quality recycled card stock.
 
Jane will cover everything you need to know to be able to create your own single colour lino printed cards just in time for the festive season.
 
Jane will take you through each stage of the lino cutting process - the best materials to use, basic tool techniques and how to use your tools to make different marks, design planning and transferring it to the lino, ink rolling and blending colours and printing.
 
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have tried lino-printing before.
